This is the video that I used to help me to understand how to insert pictures and text into a website.

For me to be able to carry out my research I looked into codes and conventions of websites. Through doing this it allowed me to be able to annotate various websites similar and different to what I am looking at basing my website on.

Research

In this lesson I looked at various videos and websites in order to help me to understand the way Dreamweaver works and ways that I can overcome problems that I had when creating my prelim.

Below are some annotations that I done when looking at website designs and layouts. This helped me to understand what a typical website would have to look like and what codes and conventions that I would have to follow in order for my website to be a success.

Target audience- adults (female), taking care of children and family.



Target audience- adults (female) nurturing the family are more health conscience of their health and ensure their family take part in a healthy lifestyle



Target audience- teacher’s parents and pupils of the school.

Prelim task

Before I start my main task I had to create a new homepage for a school or college. This is called a preliminary exercise. Through doing this task gains me 15 marks towards my final grade.

The prelim exercise aims for me show that I am able to create a website with working links and have an understanding for the conventions of a website.
